18 Years Later: The Ebony Baby Returns Home!

At Ebony Hospitals Ltd., we are committed to providing world-class care, but nothing brings us more joy and pride than a story that comes full circle. We recently had the extraordinary pleasure of welcoming back a very special member of our hospital family: Caleb Charles Chinedu Black, who was born right here at Ebony Hospitals 18 years ago!

A Full-Circle Homecoming

Caleb, accompanied by his father and other family members and friends, visited our facility to commemorate his 18th birthday. This emotional homecoming highlighted the lasting bond between the Black family and the hospital that delivered two of their children (Caleb and his sister, Naomi, who was also born here).

During the visit, Caleb's father recounted the day of his birth, reminding everyone that their experience at Ebony Hospitals was a defining moment for their family.

The Group Cheering/Introducing Caleb

From Port Harcourt to Nebraska

Caleb, who is affectionately known as the "Ebony Baby", is now a young man studying in Nebraska, USA. His visit home was a celebration not just of his 18th year, but of his Nigerian roots and the place where his life began.

It was a beautiful sight to see the warmth and pride shared between the Black family and our team, who greeted the young man with immense joy and appreciation. This story is a powerful testament to the longevity and impact of the care we provide, particularly in our Maternity and Paediatric services.

A Celebration of Heritage and Life

The group celebrated with beaming smiles and rousing cheers of "Gbooooza!" for Ebony Hospital, reflecting the festive spirit of the occasion. The family presented us with a token, and Caleb held up a framed photo, a memento symbolizing the precious moment of his birth that brought everyone together again.

This moment is a huge inspiration for the entire Ebony Hospitals family. It reinforces our mission to be a leading private healthcare center providing quality and affordable secondary medical services.

To Caleb and the Black family, thank you for sharing this incredible milestone with us. Your story is our legacy!
